Elections in South Dorset are held nearly every year; whether it be Parliamentary, Local, Police and Crime Commissioner election, or by-elections. Therefore we need an active team of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to help elect Conservatives to all public offices to promote our beliefs and to ensure efficient, competent governance. Here's how you could help us:
Leafleting: Delivering leaflets to houses in your local area to help spread the policies of our candidates.
Canvassing: Knocking on doors in the local area to gauge potential supporters for our candidates.
Campaign Stall Team: Handing out leaflets and talking with local people in town centres about our candidates and why it is important to vote for them.
Teller: Standing outside polling stations on election day to keep track of which local supporters have voted already, and who has yet to vote.
Get Out The Vote: Working with our Tellers to visit local supporters on election day to ensure they get to the polling station to vote before 10pm!
Election Night Team: Attending the local counts to verify the votes, contest any ambiguous ballots, and track which ballot boxes come from the areas where we do well, and where we need to improve.
