D-Day 80th Commemoration

Moving D-Day Commemorations took place across South Dorset and the UK. D-Day was the start of the campaign to liberate Europe. The historic operation saw the Allied Forces mount a large-scale invasion that ultimately changed the course of the Second World War in the Allies' favour. As with all serving and ex-services Armed Forces, Richard Drax has the utmost respect for those who gave their lives in conflicts. We must remember them and their sacrifice.
