Richard Drax stopped by Portland to visit the iconic Jailhouse Diner. It’s run by General Manager Rachel Barton of the charity Expia, who provide training and employment opportunities for prisoners. It’s statistically proven that if someone gets meaningful employment when released they’re less likely to reoffend.
