A General Election has been called for Thursday, 4th July 2024. The boundary changes mean that in the west, Chickerell Ward moves into the South Dorset constituency. In the east the Parish of Arne is moved into the Mid Dorset and North Poole constituency. MP Richard Drax welcomes residents from Chickerell and bids farewell to those from Arne Parish who have been part of Wareham Ward since for formation of Dorset Council in 2019.
